I can reproduce this on sage-5.10.beta5 on a GNU/Linux x86_64.

This is a bug. I can reproduce this on sage-5.10.beta5 on a GNU/Linux x86_64.x86_64. On another machine, i can reproduce it on sage-5.0 but not on sage-4.8. This has been reported at trac ticket 14677.
